A third of my first project for Spring's Illustration class. We have to do a piece relating to vegetable, mineral, and animal, so I decided to turn each one into a spirit.
The suggester writes: "Plant Spirit by ~Kitsune-aka-Cettie is interesting and imaginative. The expression on the plant anthro's face is full of hope and inspiration. The amazing little details, like the veins on those leaf arms and chest and the texturing of the moss really add a lot to this and make it a fantastic piece of art that you should definitely spend some time carefully looking over." Oh wow, this drawing looks so fascinating and is full of wonderful details! I love this picture! The anthro looks so delicate, magical and majestic and it reminds me on a birth of a fairy. I love the soft green tones and the mysterious, green light in the background. The plants are so realistic and beautiful! Well done!
I'm making a series of art videos about flowers, and I was wondering if I could include this piece in one of my videos. It would be set to an original classical-style composition (by me) about this flower. I'll be sure to credit you and link to your page if you say yes.
This is just beautiful. I really like all the detail work on the picture. The veins on the leafs and the way you've integrated the plant with this lovely feminine figure. Its seamless, instead of having a sense of being artificially attached.
